So this post has been in the work for quiet sometime. If you follow me on my personal insta (and if you don’t you should) I love white. I just got a white kurta and have given one for stitching to the tailor so yeah this is a better love story than Raj and Simran. Amna and I put together these white looks for a summer lookbook. They are a mix of Eastern and Western incorporating our personal styles, so let’s do this!
Truck Adda Special
Atiya: White is the perfect backdrop for bright accessories like these yellow khussas. I got them from Khussa Mahal, Lahore and I get compliments on them all the time. Shirt is from Khaadi and the jeans are from Outfitters.
Island Breeze, Sporty Chic
Amna: My fave thing in life is palm trees (which is where our blog aesthetic also comes from) so obviously I had to have this shirt. The culottes are grey but we’ll cheat and include them here because there are no rules to fashion. The entire outfit is from Outfitters though trust us we are not being paid for any of this.
Atiya: I loved this shirt the minute I saw it and Rs 3990 later I was pretty broke but happy. But damn these tassels are slippery and falling off 🙁 They look good and that is the point here. I paired the shirt with a dhoti/tulip shalwar and the whole look is very tribal and ethnic and me likey overall. It’s nice when your bottoms are light and airy in this heat. Shirt is from Ethnic by Outfitters (no endorsements), shalwar is a gift from a family friend and kohlapuris are from Tariq Center. Oh and the earrings are a gift from the colleagues from their trip to Nathiagali and I love them to bits!
Lemony Tickets – A Series of Fashionable Events
Amna: This super summery outfit is made special with the addition of the lemon print kimono from Splash. The shirt is from Beech Tree, jeans are from What the Funk? on Facebook, necklace is from New York and Company and shoes are from Crossroads (RIP Crossroads also these shoes because right after this picture, they fell apart).
Breezy Bottoms (hehe)
Atiya: I wear this outfit all the time (and usually my hair behaves but not this time because I needed them too lulz). These wide-legged bottoms from Zeen are the best release in their spring summer collection and this white shirt that I got stitched is the perfect pairing. I often switch up my metals with this dress depending on my shoes because I am not a fan of wearing silver tone shoes and gold accessories or vice versa. These sandals are a custom made from Stratford Street by Mariam Rehman and I have been wearing them all spring.
