Spring is in the air and we are feeling the breezy lawn prints. The weather is just perfect in Karachi so even more reason to shop. When Yayvo approached us to shop from their website as part of their lawn launch we jumped in and said YASSS. The unscratched pieces arrived over the space of a week and then we gave them to the tailor to get stitched and voila! here we are.
I am very simple when it comes to designing and wearing Eastern wear because one can get very bogged down with all the laces and prints and embellishements. Since my style is more monochromatic, floral prints are too much for me. But I liked these pieces from Kapray. The print is bright but grounded with the black and white tribal edging on the hem and sleeves. Added a white straight pant and tasselled sandals and I am good to go.

PRINTS ON PRINTS
I selected this unstitched (now stitched duh) 2 piece lawn suit from Alkaram. The pants are what really caught my eye because I usually don’t pick colors like greys and beiges but this dress made me want to try something new. I got the buttons and hem embellishments from Kurtuba in Bahadurabad. I love how this dress works with a smokey eye and a nude lip – you can take it from day to night by just changing up your accessories.

IN THE PINK
I love how this one turned out. The colors are pastel and the whole look screams bloomin’ pretty. Once again I went for simple stitching and sleeveless to stay cool and comfy. Tan sandals and a coral lip are the perfect accessories for a gorgeous spring day.
